While this particular match-up feels relatively fresh and welcome, there's still the feeling the SDLive tag division needs something new.
Despite the introduction of SAnitY (still missing something in our opinion, which leaves us a little Cross), we're back with The Bludgeon Brothers and The New Day
These teams have been either Tag Team champs or contenders for what feels like forever, and while we can rarely criticise the quality of either of their matches, it does feel like there's a need for new blood.
Team Hell No offered a taste of something different, but Kane's injury (and political distractions) put an end to that angle.
Anyway, despite The New Day's impressive passage through the tag team tournament, we can't see past The Bludgeon Brothers retaining here.
So while we're sticking with Harper and Rowan for our prediction, we're also hoping that SAnitY get it together and challenge soon.
And we're also hoping for another call-up or two to shake up this division and make things a bit more varied going into the long stretch before Survivor Series.
PREDICTION: The Bludgeon Brothers
WWE United States Championship: Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs Jeff Hardy© WWEAdvertisement - Continue Reading Below
After Shinsuke Nakamura finally stopped chasing AJ Styles (and punching him in the nadgers, to no avail), he set his sights on Jeff Hardy and the US Championship.
He was much more successful, and has managed to hold on to the belt since he won it at Extreme Rules last month.
Jeff Hardy is surely getting wise to all of Shinsuke's tricks, but this match has a sting its tail... the return of The Viper Randy Orton.
For now, Randy has been getting all his anger out on Jeff, even though the Hardy Boy no longer holds the gold.
Either he'll get added to this match to make it a Triple Threat (our guess), or at the very least he'll make his presence known on the night.
Whatever happens with Orton though, we think that wildcard factor will only help the champ.
After all that toil for a main roster title, Shinsuke isn't giving this one up easily.
PREDICTION: Shinsuke Nakamura
WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Cedric Alexander (c) vs Drew Gulak [Kick-Off Show]© WWE
After its turbulent beginnings, 205 Live has really hit its stride in recent months since the addition of Drake Maverick as General Manager.
It may not quite have the crossover excitement that the Cruiserweight Classic managed, but it really isn't far off.
The 205 Live roster is shot through with ability, with countless superstars worthy of the title or at least a spot as contender.
You could stick a pin in that locker room at random and be certain of hitting raw talent, as the lead-up to this match-up has shown.
This time around it's Drew Gulak who's going for Cedric Alexander's crown, and he's definitely got the grappling skills to end the Age of Alexander.
But for now we think that Cedric will manage to stay up off that mat and use his all-round attack to edge a victory.
And win or lose, with a good spot on the card, both men can do their bit to help take the Cruiserweights to the next level.
PREDICTION: Cedric Alexander
Daniel Bryan vs The Miz© WWE
A match eight years in the making, ever since Daniel Bryan was The Miz's rookie and protégé (yes, really), on the original NXT.
Their relationship became a feud when D-Bry got signed, and kicked off in earnest when the student took the master's US Title.
Since then there's been plenty of water under the bridge, but things stepped up a notch with a stunning Talking Smack war of words two years ago, when Daniel Bryan was still retired.
We thought he'd never get his revenge, but now he has the opportunity.
But despite shaking off the ring rust with wins against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn (alongside Shane McMahon) and Big Cass, we think that Daniel Bryan will have to wait a little longer to get one over on The Miz.
Granted the circumstances were hardly favourable, but Team Hell No's defeat to The Bludgeon Brothers and Daniel Bryan's inability to insert himself in the SDLive main event show that he's not quite back at the top of his game just yet.
Or perhaps The Miz is right and his time has gone? Either way, we expect The A-Lister to come out on top... for now.
PREDICTION: The Miz
Finn Bálor vs 'Constable' Baron Corbin© WWE
It feels like this one has been going on a lot longer than it has, doesn't it?
It's only been a few weeks of back and forth between these two, and while we've been enjoying Corbin in his Constable role, we think that this feud has just about reached its end.
It's being built up as a battle of little and large, despite the fact that Finn is hardly Hornswoggle.
Corbin nominally has the backing of Stephanie McMahon, but we don't think she's invested enough to pull any strings on his behalf here.
And even though Finn will likely leave the Demon in the locker room for this trip, Brooklyn is a special place for him and we can't see him losing here.
A win for Finn, and then some more interesting battles for both men ahead.
PREDICTION: Finn Bálor
