Each of the three new player-inspired characters have been designed to have three unique 'evolutions' based on their personalities and playing styles.

Walcott's Angry Bird takes the form of a distinctive yellow bird – yellow characters being the fastest in Angry Birds Evolution.

Turkish international Tosun's character will reflect his cultural roots and clinical finishing skills while Iceland's Sigurdsson's character will draw upon his physical strength and recognise his Nordic heritage.

ANGRY BIRDS EVOLUTION

Angry Birds Evolution is a free-to-play 3-D turn-based role-playing puzzle mobile game that was released worldwide by Rovio Entertainment on June 15, 2017.

The game plays similar to Angry Birds Epic with the exception that a player is slinging birds toward the enemies to defeat them instead of using weapons.

The popular mobile game, which has near to four billion downloads since its inception in 2009, has been a shirt sleeve sponsor of Everton for the past two seasons after the club signed a multi-year international partnership with Rovio.

This is the latest activity the two organisations have embarked upon to engage Everton fans following the release of a video series on YouTube — which featured some of the club's key players — this summer.

Speaking about his Angry Birds makeover, England international Walcott said: 'Angry Birds is one of the biggest names in gaming and I am very happy to be one of the first three football players in the world to have my own personalised playable character.

'It's been really interesting to work with Rovio to shape my character and see the work that goes on behind the scenes to bring it to life.'
