Four hours later, two men were shot at or near a gas station at 1620 North Union Boulevard, north of Martin Luther King Drive, police said. Two men were in a car at the Zephyr Express gas station when a gunman approached and shot one of the men in the chest. They drove to the 800 block of Clara Avenue and called police. The injured man, 24, was taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition. Later, another man showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand. He told conflicting stories and was uncooperative, but said he was shot near the gas station.
